Hey guys!
This week was a good week as usual! We had
a couple of meetings and one of them was a world wide missionary broadcast at
the stake center and with the other things we had to do we ended up the whole
day in
Rochester.
We had a good lesson with Marissa,
Steve, and Layla this week on the plan of salvation and they got a roku so now
hey have the Mormon Channel on their TV and they have been watching that and we
are going to Rochester this week with them to the Family history center so that
should be good! We also had a really good lesson with Randy and he is half way
through Moroni so he should be done this week! He's the type of person who
wants to be really sure about stuff before he makes a decision and he doesn't
want to be baptized yet because he doesn't know if he can make it to church
every week yet and he doesn't want to be
a hypocrite, so I guess that's good! He doesn't want to be baptized until he
knows he can be fully active.
We went to Nunda and did service and a
couple of lessons with the other elders all day Friday. We did a bunch of the
usual stuff and we found a young couple in Scottsville who said we could come
by tonight so we will see how that goes. Sunday, we had church and then we went
and saw some less actives and then we went to the Welch’s for dinner. They are
the parents of the Larson’s and they have a super nice cabin in the woods with
a big pond. We have been trying to visit all of the less actives and make a
list and see who is still living there, if they are still alive, if they have
interest or if they don't like the church any more, etc...
There are a lot of them but we only have
about 50 more families to try and see so should be done in a little bit.
